Apr 18 2019:39th Annual Senior Conference, hosted by Sen. Eldridge, is scheduled for Thursday, April 18th, 8 am. to 2 pm., at the Assabet Valley Regional Technical HS. Apr 19 2019:Soap Making Program for teens and tweens is hosted at the Hudson Public Library on April 19th, at 3 pm. Free, and all materials are provided, however, registration is highly recommended. Call 978.568.9644.    
Apr 20 2019:The Beatles: A Cultural and Historical Reflection is hosted by the Hudson Public Library on April 20th, at 2 pm. This musical workshop is presented by Fran Hart, the founding member of 4EverFab, a Beatles Tribute Bank. Drop in program.    
Apr 27 2019:Local Author Fair will be hosted by the Hudson Public Library on Saturday, April 27th, 2 to 4 pm. Discussions, book signings, etc. Go to the following website for a complete list of participating authors. www.hudsonpubliclibrary.com    
May 4 2019:2nd Annual ArtsFest is scheduled for Saturday, May 4th, 12 to 5 pm. This free event includes local art, craft, music, and artmaking. For more information, email info@upwitharts.org    
May 4 2019:Symphony Pro Musica welcomes superstar violinist Inmo Yang performing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto. Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 1 and Florence Price’s Symphony No. 1 round out the program. For more info, call 978.562.0939, or email spmoffice@symphonypromusica.org    
May 4 2019:ARTSFEST Hudson is scheduled for May 4th, from 12 to 5 pm., in downtown Hudson. This Business Improvement District (BID) event includes artists, musicians, and local crafters. Jun 22 2019:2nd Annual Hudson Touch-a-Truck is scheduled for Saturday, June 22nd, Morgan Bowl, 120 Chapin Rd., Hudson. The event’s from 10:30 am. to 2 pm., and the first hour is horn free for those who have sensory challenges. Cost is $5 pp., $20/ family. Last year, the event included 42 participants, countless free and inexpensive activities, and a small food court with hot dogs, chicken fingers, and grilled cheese. The event’s co-produced by the Assabet Valley Chamber and the Hudson Rotary Club. On goingSymphony Pro Musica presents Sacred and Profane, featuring Dvorak and Orf, with special guest, the New World Chorale. The 3/16 Concert’s at the Hudson HS, at 7:30 pm, with a pre-concert talk at 6:45 am. The concert is repeated on 3/17 at St. Mark’s School in Southborough at 3:30 pm. On goingClifford the Big Red Dog will join the Berlin Library’s story time on Monday, March 24th, at 11 am. This program is hosted by the MEFA Reading Series. MEFA is a self-financing state authority with a mission to make higher education more accessible and affordable for MA students and their families.
