Jul 27 2017:Mystery Night: We'll be welcoming three great mystery writers to the library for an event called It's Not Just about the Murder. A captivating mystery includes social issues, an interesting location or profession, and/or compelling personal relationships. Jul 27 2017:Mystery Night: Join award winning, best selling authors Ray Daniel, Hallie Ephron, and Hank Phillippi Ryan at the Maynard Library at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 27 when they will be talking about not only their latest books but why their books are "not just about the murder.” The event is free, open to the public and handicapped accessible. Light refreshments will be served

Aug 19 2017:The 10th annual Hudson-Concord Elks Hot Air Balloons and Blues Festival will take place Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20 at the Elks Club in Hudson. Balloon ascensions at 6:00 AM on Saturday, 6:00 PM, followed by a balloon glow. Morning flight on Sunday. Admission is $20 for the day, or $5 for the mornings only.
